I spent twelve years in the telecommunications industry. Starting in the very early years of the Internet Industry in Australia with Online Information Systems (OIS) an Internet Service Provider which was the first major acquisition of iiNet in 1996. In 1998 I took the position of Sales and Marketing Director for NTT Communications one of the largest telecommunications carriers in the world.

I now have over six years experience of managing all the operational aspects of a recruitment company whilst also still being completely hands in recruiting on a day to day basis. I conduct Executive Search assignments but also particularly enjoy hard to fill roles requiring highly specialised skill sets.

I have worked on assignments all over the world including senior placements in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Dubai, the UK and Canada.

I work best when I work very closely with my clients; I know their business strategy and culture enabling me to profile people who can make a significant impact to both their top and bottom lines. My job satisfaction is long term, way past the client having paid our fee when I hear from the candidate and from the client of their successes and satisfaction.

I have always been passionate about technology and learning new things; I have programmed routers, firewalls, built servers, workstations, managed networks and applications and am currently dabbling with HTML 5 and building a mobile application.

After a lot of research and six years of experience and a global search I believe we have finally implemented a world leading recruitment management system that can help us efficiently source high calibre candidates matching client's highly specialised requirements. Perhaps that's one additional reason we have been recognised by BRW Magazine and SmartCompany as one of the fastest growing companies in Australia.

We specialise in sourcing the very best talent for permanent, contract and senior roles within the ICT sector. As principal my specialist skills are in managing the key strategic business relationships within our business – both as a business partner and hands on consultant.

I like to focus on exceptional delivery, solving the recruitment problems for the client and candidate. After many years in this area there are not many roles that I have not recruited and filled.

Currently I am having a huge amount of fun working in the areas of Networking, Cloud Computing, Storage, Virtualisation and Unified Communications . Typically the roles are across Sales and Account Management, Pre-sales, Consulting, Delivery and Support. My clients range anywhere from Global Vendors and Service Providers to Systems and Network Integrators as well as Cloud Start Up's and Enterprise Accounts.

Additionally I also provide advice on talent management, employment at a strategic level, benchmarking, salaries and benefits and act as a sounding board for our clients and candidates.

I have many years of experience in the IT & Telecommunications area. My experience in sales and marketing allows for a balanced and focused approach to the development of the company and the people we work with.

I have extensive experience in starting and developing new businesses and I have a very strong professional network of industry contacts. I am very passionate about people and career development and mentoring individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals whilst having some fun along the way.

Outside of work I am a committed to my wonderful family as well as my two favourite hobbies which are wreck diving and swimming. An avid reader of just about anything I also enjoy bush walking and camping as well as following most sports.
