My client is an established Technology Management Company offering Cloud, Data Centre, Managed Infrastructure and Communications solutions and services to an enviable corporate client base throughout Australia.

Working as a member of their Infrastructure team, the suitable candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside with and learn from highly-skilled and experienced professionals in the industry.

Successful candidates will also be offered training to enhance and hone their skills across the wide variety of technology stacks and platforms. With a focus on Cloud and Data Centre services gives a great opportunity to a candidate who is keen to be part of these new trends and paradigms

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting for servers, operating systems, Citrix applications, networks including WANs, Internet connections, Routers, Firewalls, email systems
  • Day-to-day technical support administration tasks
  • Proactive monitoring of operational systems
  • Reporting on system status to clients
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times.


Experience required:

  • Tertiary degree in computer science or similar is essential
  • At least 18 months strong commercial experience in a support role
  • Experience and knowledge with Windows Desktop OS including Windows 7 and/or Windows XP. Microsoft certifications in this area will be highly regarded
  • Understanding and experience of backup and anti-virus systems is essential
  • Knowledge of DHCP and DNS is desirable
  • Familiarity working with Active Directory user management
  • Good understanding of Network Design, TCP/IP, routers and firewalls concepts.
  • CCNA certification will be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technologies like VMware and Citrix is an added advantage
  • Advanced English language skills are ESSENTIAL (speaking, reading and writing).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and perform under pressure.
  • Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a MUST.
