Working in IT&T for 10 years, Anthony started his career as a pre-sales consultant at Compaq Australia headquarters in Sydney, providing product based information to clients and channel partners nationally.
Wanting to get closer to the action, he then moved to Avnet Partner Solutions – a global VAD (Value Added Distributor) and partner of Compaq, HP, IBM & Enterasys (at the time), as a Business Development Account Manager. His focus was to drive new business opportunities for Compaq/HP & IBM enterprise IT infrastructure (SAN, Server, Backup, DR, and Implementation Engineering Services) to Tier 1 & Tier 2 channel partners (Resellers, SIs, ISV - Independent Software Vendors) nationally with a focus on NSW. Growing new channel partner relationships and farming existing ones (Starcom acquired by Pisces, Harbour IT, Professional Advantage, Accucom, Data 3, Classic Blue to name a few), he was also involved at the end user level (Police, RTA, Business Link, Health NSW, AAP) and would often accompany his partners on site. Having spent 6.5 years at Avnet, he successfully over achieved monthly and annual quotas and was the only BDM to achieve sales club - Vanuatu in FY06.

Having been at 2it for 2 years now, his focus as a 360 degree recruiter/consultant within IT&T covers contract and permanent positions across the following areas;

Solid 14 years of ICT experiences both in Australia and Asia Pacific regions (countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia), with career started as hardware / network consultant in Sydney after University (BSc course) back in early 1990s.

Kevin then moved into more project and post-sales role with successfully deployed various sizes of network environment within the first 7 years of the career path. Sydney Australia Stadium was just one of the examples of a successfully deployed and project managed of a complete LAN/MAN infrastructure.

In the year of 2000, Kevin relocated to Hong Kong and moving into more pre-sales & sales orientated role (LAN/WAN infrastructure and managed services solution). With solid 7 years working closely with various international IT players such as IBM, HP, CISCO, Microsoft, Novel, etc., and international Telco such as PCCW, Newworld Telecommunications, China Telecom, CNC, AT&T, BT, NTT and SingTel. He has successfully deployed various WAN solutions across Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, US and UK.

Having 14 years of Information Technology and Telecommunication experiences, Kevin focuses now as recruitment consultant within ICT covering both contract & permanent positions across different areas, i.e. Business Development Manager / Account Manager, Post & Pre-Sales Consultant, Systems & Network Engineers, Solutions Architect, etc.
