An amazing opportunity for a suitably qualified Technical Channel Sales Specialist to join this Global Security Vendor who provides security solutions to Enterprise, Government and Service Providers that secures data and voice communication regardless of device, environment or location. Reporting to the Head of World Wide Sales & Marketing and Vice President Asia Pacific , the successful candidate will be responsible for developing net-new business sales within the ANZ channel community and on occasion directly if required for a Government Sale. On offer for this role is the opportunity to work within a global leader, sell complex security solutions to the highest levels across the ANZ region as well as a very attractive remuneration package, national and international travel as well as working with the global executive management team. Responsibilities The successful candidate will engage and recruit new resellers and systems integrators as directed by the head of WW Sales. The individual will make available to the channel all products appropriate to the market. Responsibilities include:
- Recruitment, education and on-going management of the new partner relationships.
- Management of the existing partners and clients
- Setting of account plans and sales targets per partner, managing and monitoring performance thereafter.
- Enabling partners to understand the product mix ensuring no over-reliance on any given product.
- Providing accurate and timely (weekly and monthly), sales reports to the head of WW Sales, whilst maintaining accurate CRM reporting for the business.
- Meet sales revenue targets, personal and company KPI's.
Key Personal Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role (minimum 5 years' experience), developing and managing channels for a Security Vendor
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate serial-success selling to the channels and end-user community in his/her career and have a strong understanding of the challenges managing/balancing the needs of the channels and the end-user community.
- Strong PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) security experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong Network Encryption experience is required
- Experience in various network communications technologies is an advantage
- Have a good network and understanding of the key contact base within the fixed and wireless carrier community.
- Demonstrate good understanding of the key contact base within Federal and State governments.
- It is highly desirable that the successful candidate be at a minimum security cleared.
- It is highly desirable that the successful candidate be aware of regulatory and compliance issues around Cyber Security and be in a position to advise customers/partners on these issues.
